AppSheet Vexor is a Chrome Extension that allows users to embed their own Looker Studio dashboards inside AppSheet views. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we do and do not handle.🔹𝟐. 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐖𝐞 𝐃𝐨 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚
AppSheet Vexor does NOT collect, track, store on external servers, or sell any personal information, browsing history, or website content.𝐖𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
- Financial information
- Health information
- Location data
- Browsing history or Website content from other sites
🔹𝟑. 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞
The extension uses chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local to save user preferences locally in the user's own browser. This includes:- View Name -> Embed URL mappings
- Container selector and footer crop settings
- Global on/off toggle
- License key (if purchased)
- Trial info (anonymous Device ID, first_seen, expires_at, status)
This data stays in your browser and is synced via your own Google account if you have Chrome Sync enabled.
🔹𝟒. 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟑𝟎-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥
AppSheet Vexor offers a 30-day free trial and Pro plans via PayPal (one-time payment).Trial: On first install, we generate an anonymous Device ID (SHA-256 hash of browser properties) and store first_seen and expires_at (30 days) in Google Sheets via our Google Apps Script endpoint (script.google.com / script.googleusercontent.com) to enforce the trial limit. When expired, the extension automatically hides your views and blocks editing until a license is purchased.
License: When you activate a Pro license, your license key (e.g. VEXOR-XXXX) and anonymous Device ID are sent to our Google Apps Script endpoint solely to verify the purchase and enforce device limits. We do not see, store, or receive your PayPal payment information. Please see PayPal's Privacy Policy for how they handle your data.
🔹𝟓. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
This extension temporarily modifies the Content-Security-Policy and X-Frame-Options headers on sub-frames of appsheet.com via declarativeNetRequest.This is the only way to allow AppSheet to load the Looker Studio iframe that YOU configure, since AppSheet does not natively support third-party embeds.
We do not modify any other website, and we do not send your browsing data to any server. This modification happens locally in your browser and is applied only to your configured dashboards.
🔹𝟔. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝-𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬
AppSheet (appsheet.com): The extension reads the URL hash and DOM of the AppSheet page locally to detect the current view name. This information is processed locally and is never transmitted off your device.Looker Studio (lookerstudio.google.com): Embedded via an iframe. The content of your dashboard is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not access it.
PayPal (paypal.com): Used to process payments for Pro plans.
Google Apps Script (script.google.com / script.googleusercontent.com): Used for trial and license verification as described above. Stores Device ID, dates, license key, and minimal activation logs (50 rows max).
